Microsoft’s Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) technology streamlines the development of messaging applications.

CDOSYS – Built-in component in ASP that used to send e-mail with ASP.

CDONTS – Component that makes it easier to create and send emails using ASP and is present in Microsoft’s Windows NT and Windows 2000 server platforms. On Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 2003, Microsoft has stopped supporting CDONTs.

ASPEmail –  Allows Web application to send email messages through any external SMTP server.

ASPUpload – In as few as two lines of ASP script, you may enable web applications to receive files submitted by browsers. The files can be uploaded to a database, disc, or memory. Additionally, a built-in HTML-based progress indicator makes it simple for users to keep track of upload progress.

ASPJpeg – A feature that makes managing photos simple. So, among other things, you may crop, rotate, convert, extract metadata from images, produce thumbnails, logo-stamp photos, and much more.

Microsoft IIS 6 – Host static webpages and ASP.NET web apps. Additionally, it serves as an FTP server, hosts WCF services, and can be extended to host web applications created with other platforms, including PHP.
