How to Create an User Account in SmarterMail
SmarterMail version 8.x – 15.x can use the following way. To create a new user in SmarterMail, follow these steps:
Step 1:
To begin, log in as the domain administrator to the SmarterMail web interface.
Step 2:
After that, select the Settings icon.
Step 3:
Expand the Domain Settings folder after that.
Step 4:
Then select ‘Users’ from the drop-down menu.
Step 5:
to get started, go to the content panel toolbar and select New.
Step 6:
Then, in the ‘Username’ field, insert the desired username.
Step 7:
Then, in the ‘Authentication Mode’ area, choose the appropriate authentication option from the drop-down menu. Note: If an active directory is selected, you can skip to Step 9 by entering the domain name in the Domain field.
Step 8:
The next step is to enter the new account’s password in the ‘Password and Confirm Password’ section. Remember to use the same password every time.
Step 9:
In the ‘Display Name’ section, provide the name that will appear on outgoing messages.
Step 10:
Entering a Reply-To Email Address is optional.
Step 11:
In the ‘Time Zone’ area, choose the appropriate time zone from the drop-down menu.
Step 12:
After all, click Save.
