Why Use Custom Error Pages?
The web server will automatically show an error page to display error messages like 404 (Not Found) or 500 when an error occurs on a website (Internal server error). Generic/default error pages have the drawback of being information-poor. Even worse, the user will leave your website as a result of these error pages. This tutorial will demonstrate how to configure unique error pages using cPanel.
How to Create Custom Error Pages in cPanel
-
- Firstly, login to cPanel.
- Secondly, click Error Pages under Advanced section. Select the domain for which you will add a custom error page if you have multiple domains in cPanel.
